Work-life balance advice for your employees

profawo provides counselling to your employees throughout Switzerland and in border regions in German, French, English and Italian. Our expertise is based on many years of experience in family counselling and on daily contact with private and institutional networks at local, cantonal and national levels.

If your company is a member of profawo, counselling sessions for your employees are free of charge.

If you are not yet a member, the fee is CHF 180 per hour.

We offer advice and practical childcare solutions for parents of children aged 0–12. Whether you’re looking for childcare at a profawo daycare center (kids & co), at a partner daycare center, at home with a flexible nanny, in an emergency or during the school holidays: kids & co is the place to go. Similarly, your employees can gain valuable insights into their new role as parents and into family organisation through our ‘online sessions’.

As a major provider with more then 20 of our own daycare centers, we are committed to high-quality work and invest in the continuous development of our childcare staff as well as in our educational approach.

30 years of profawo

Filled with joy and pride, we look back on three decades of dedicated work and accompaniment. Thirty years ago, young parents and members of the Young Chamber of Commerce faced a challenge: there were not enough daycare places for working parents. This need gave life to the Childcare Service association and, with it, our first daycare centre in Zurich. It was this courageous step taken by these parents, together with their respective employers (and our founding members), that laid the foundation for what is now profawo.

For us, this anniversary is more than just a retrospective. It is a moment of gratitude to all our partners, customers, employees and the families who place their trust in us. At the same time, it is a look ahead: to new paths, modern solutions and a future in which work-life balance becomes a given.
